The death occurred suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 of Oliver "Ollie" Percy MacDonald of Churchill, age 82.
Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee MacKinnon). Father of Nancy (Mike) Fitzgerald of Clyde River, Harvey (Claudia) of St. Catherine's, Gordon (Janet) of Halifax, N.S., Debbie (Laurie) Downe of Stratford, Elric (Colleen) of Cumberland, Valerie (David) Worth of Clyde River and Fay (Alan) Worth of the Loyalist Road. Poppy of Darren and Craig MacDonald; Nicholas, Caleigh and Sarah MacDonald; Meredith and Monica Downe; Alexander and Rebecca MacDonald; Jessica and Melanie Worth and James and Alana Worth; and great-grandchildren, Hannah and Drew MacDonald. Brother of Dorothy Crosby of Cornwall, Hazel Crosby of Charlottetown, Shirley Pollard of Charlottetown, Joyce (Preston) Richards of Charlottetown, Willard (Lorraine) of Clyde River, Wendell (Heather) of Cornwall, Neil (Gail) of Charlottetown, Audrey Auld (Eric Ellsworth) of Stanhope, Lomer (Donna) of Cornwall, Lea (Colleen) of Charlottetown, Mervin (Debbie) of Stratford, Donna (Kent) Gorveatt of Charlottetown and Terry (Gayle) of Argyle Shore; and brother-in-law of Colin Birt of Charlottetown.
Predeceased by grandson, Jeffery MacDonald; parents, Percy and Emily (Seller) MacDonald; siblings, Borden MacDonald and Sandra Birt; brothers-in-law, Andrew Crosby, Heath Crosby, Alger Pollard, Henry Ferguson and Gerry Auld.
Resting at the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment in Churchill Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
