February 4, 1922 - October 20, 2012 aged, 90.8 years. Today the sun shone brightly and heaven opened wide, our Dad, William Henry Howell joined our angels his wife Mary (Reddy) Howell; his daughter Betty Howell and his granddaughter Alicia Grimbly and his parents: Walter and Sarah (Farrell) Howell. On October 19th, 2012, we gave him his wish to come home one last time; and jokingly and peacefully he passed on October 20th, 2012 with his children by his side. Our Dad leaves to mourn his six sons: Billy Jr. (Debbie), Bobby (Jackie), Gerald, Eddie, Dennis and David (Linda); his three daughters: Barb Hodder, Stella (Brian) Hanlon and Judy Grimbly; his grandchildren Terry Howell, Chrissy and Rene Hodder, Nikki, Ryan and Sean Hanlon, Kelly and Michelle Howell, Lisa Marie and Megan Howell, Sara, Jaime and Scott Grimbly; his great-grandchildren Tyler Parsons, Michael Howell Bambrick, Ryder Fitzgerald, Rianna and Leah Collrin, Logan Hann, Nolan Hanlon and Matthew Williams Jr.; his three brothers-in-law: Lar and Mike Reddy (Ont.) and David (Mary) Reddy (Shea Heights), as well as his many nieces, nephews from his predeceased sister, Beatrice Adams and predeceased brothers: Mike, Bob and Jim Howell. To his many friends and Long Shore Men from Shea Heights. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of 4 West St. Clare’s for all their kindness and care. Special Thanks to Ron Dalton for all his help provided to the family and to daughter Judy for always being by his side day and night. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 12 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 24th, 2012 at 10 a.m. from St. John Bosco Church. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice.
