On October 18, 2012 Clarence (Clem) Straub passed away peacefully with his family at his side, at the age of 92 years.
He will be lovingly remembered and cherished by his wife of 69 years, Bernice. Clarence is survived by his four children and spouses, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Clarence was born in Esterhazy, SK, grew up and attended school in the Tuxford area before moving to Moose Jaw, SK. There he married Bernice and they raised their family. Clarence worked at B.A. Oil/ Gulf Oil before retiring to Edmonton. Dad enjoyed travelling, fishing, his workshop and his model train collections.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, 5003 – 146th Avenue, Edmonton, AB on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Clem may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
