It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gilbert King announce his passing at his residence in Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL on Saturday October 27, 2012 at the age of 87. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sister: Charlotte Kearley, Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL; sister in law: Doris King, Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL; companion: Ruth Priddle, Milltown, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Bert & Beatrice King; Sister: Margaret King; Brothers: James, Matthew, Clayton & Bert; brother in law: Ronald Kearley. The funeral service was held on Monday October 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown with Reverend Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at Christ Anglican Cemetery, Milltown. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
