MARR, RAYMOND - The death of Raymond Emery Marr, age 80, of Evandale, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. He was born in Millville, NB, on February 8, 1932, the son of the late Eldon and Ruth (Shea) Marr. Ray is survived by his wife Ethel (Northrup) Marr; sons Randy and Kim Marr of Queenstown, Wayne Marr of Evandale, Gregory and Ronda Marr of Kingston; daughters Brenda Drane and William Joncas of Evandale, Loretta Lane of Oak Point, Wanda and Wayne Miller of Saint John, Bonnie and Doug Donald of Public Landing, Pamela and Allan Cameron of Burton and Elizabeth Marr of Woodstock; brothers Clayton and Viola Marr of Wickham, Paul and Annie Marr of Evandale, Carl and Lillian Marr of Tennant’s Cove; sisters Audrey and Buff Hoyt of Millville, Joyce Bradley of Millville, Betty Fox of Millville, Eleanor Carpenter of Tennant’s Cove; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ray is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, on Friday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am, on Saturday, November 3, 2012. A private family interment will take place later in Central Hampstead Cemetery. Donations to the Central Hampstead Cemetery, the Children’s Wish Foundation, or the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
