FOUGÈRE, EDNA - 1921 - 2012 - Shediac - Edna Fougère, 91, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Born in Tignish, P.E.I on January 13, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and late Judith Bernard. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Diane LeBlanc (Billy) of Shediac Bridge; one son-in-law, Joseph Goguen (late Carol-Anne); two brothers, Gus Bernard (Lina) and Ben Bernard (Mary) both of Tignish, P.E.I; two sisters, Anne Poirier (late Joseph) of Dieppe and Evelyn Furlong (Terry) of Montreal, Qc; five grandchildren, Charline (Basil), Lisa (Odilon), Jimmy (Josée), Lynn (Serge) and Kevin (Olia); seven great grandchildren, Mireille, Janie, Juliana, Dilon, Ella, Jacqueline and Rosalie; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Willie F. Fougère; her daughter, Carol-Anne Goguen; her five brothers, Tim, Phil, Ed, Larry, Fred; her sister, Marie.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 9:30 to 10:30am. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 11:00am. Donations to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
