Age 76 years, of Colliers, formerly of Wabush. Passed away peacefully on November 3rd, 2012 at the Palliative Care Unit in St. John’s. Predeceased by his daughter Catherine Ann O’Brien 1999; his parents: James and Catherine Hearn, and his sister Margaret Edwards. Leaving to mourn his wife of 48 years, Helen (nee Dalton), sons: Paul (Abbigail), Pat (Gertie), Terry (Marlene); daughter Lisa (Matthew Burke); son-in-law, Tony O’Brien; his sister Mary (John Lewis), his brother Dr. James Hearn; grandchildren: Cody and Erik O’Brien, Madeline, Gabrielle and Declan Hearn, Nuala and Eavan Burke; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Conway’s Funeral Home, Conception Harbour on Monday, November 5th and Tuesday, November 6th from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Colliers on Wednesday, November 7th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers.
