Peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Garden Home on Friday, November 2, 2012, of Mrs. Rita L. Doiron (nee Currie) of Charlottetown, age 92 years.
Beloved wife of the late Stanley E. Doiron and dear mother of Valerie (John Mason) Brimicombe of Halifax, N.S., Deborah Doiron (Rick Doucette) of Charlottetown and Ernest (Rebecca) Doiron of Charlottetown. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Jennie (David Anderson), Ryan, Andrew and Liam; step-grandchildren Brian and Jamie Doucette; great-grandchild Grace Abbie Anderson; sister, Adelle Brule of Ottawa, Ont.
She was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Annie (nee Murphy) Currie; brother, Alfred (Helen) Currie; and brother-in-law, Paul Brule.
Resting at the Hennessey Charlottetown Cutcliffe Funeral Home until 9:45 Wednesday then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. The interment will take place later in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Dunstan’s Basilica Restoration Fund or the Upper Room.
