RICHARD, RENÉ (VINCENT) - (1937 - 2012) - RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB - René Richard 74, of Richibouctou-Village passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012. Born in Richibouctou-Village, he was the son of the late Oscar F. and late Aurore (Richard) Richard. Before retiring, René was employed at the Fisherman’s Coop, Richibouctou-Village for 43 years. He attended St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. René will be sadly missed by his wife; Ethel (Martin) Richard of Richibouctou-Village, two step-daughters; Angela Evans (Dan) of Cold Lake, AB, Paulette Doucet (Mario) of St. Ignace, three step-sons; Maurice Comeau (Brenda) of Moncton, Eddy Jr. Comeau of Cold Lake, AB, Dominique Comeau (Linda) of Kelowna, BC, eight step-grandchildren; Corey, Jason, Michelle, Natalie, Madison, Nathan, Samuel and Chloé Doucet that was very special to him. René is also survived by one sister; Alvina Daigle (Gérard), five brothers; Edgar Richard, Leonard Richard (Elizabeth), Léo Richard (Stella), André Richard, Robert Richard (Noélla) all of Richibouctou-Village and many nieces and nephews. Resting at St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village with visitation on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 9th, 2012 at 11:00 am, St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village.
