At Stewart Memorial Hospital, Tyne Valley, on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, of Wilna Margaret Millar of Birch Hill, aged 84 years, dear wife of George for over 68 years. Born in Montrose on Nov. 11, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Inez (Gorrill) Dyment. Dear mother to Margaret (William) Bagnall, Central Bedeque; Arthur (Marilyn), Birch Hill; Herman, Calgary, Alta.; and Brenda Millar (Nancymarie), Springton. Mother-in-law to Claire Rio (Maurice), Summerside. Loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Wilna is also survived by sisters Kaye Newcombe, Tyne Valley, and Joyce MacLennan, Port Hill. Brothers and sisters-in-law Velma (Ernie) Wooding, Kingston, Ont.; Priscilla Ramsay, Summerside; Joan Millar (Shelton Ramsay), North Bay, Ont.; Orell Montgomery, Tyne Valley; Laura (Chester) Phillips, Arlington; Rowena (Alton) Ramsay, Kensington; Ruth (Heath) MacLennan, Port Hill; Henry Birch, Birch Hill; and June Pelton, Summerside. Predeceased by parents, brother Wendell Dyment, sisters Eleanor Conkey, Laura Birch and Marion Senick. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service Friday at the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Cemetery. In memory of Wilna, memorials to Stewart Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
