ARBEAU, GIFTON - Gifton A. Arbeau, beloved husband of Sylvia and cherished father of Heidi (Lance) and Kelly, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2012. Loved and respected by so many in his home community of Hampton/Bloomfield, NB and his birthplace of Upper Blackville, NB, Gifton will be remembered for his ready smile, sparkling wit, kindness, and generosity of spirit. An active member of the music team at Hampton Baptist Church, he was frequently in demand for his musical talent and touched hearts with his guitar, fiddle and vocal skills. Gifton retired from the plastics industry in 2008 and, among other interests, enjoyed spending time on the golf course. Earlier this year, he and Sylvia moved to Edmonton, AB to be closer to their children. In addition to his wife, daughters, and son-in-law, Gifton is survived by sister Debbie (Johnny), brothers Bev (Joyce) and Floyd (Irma), seven nieces, and one nephew. He is predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Beatrice, and his brother Ronnie.
