Surrounded by his loving family, Reginald Joseph Arsenault of Mont-Carmel lost his battle to cancer on Nov. 8, 2012, at the Prince County Hospital. Born in Mont-Carmel Aug. 5, 1937, son of Theophile and Lumina (DesRoches) Arsenault of Mont-Carmel, brother to Lionel (Dorina) Arsenault of Mont-Carmel. Married his loving wife Marie-Anne Arsenault of Abram-Village on July 9, 1953. Caring father to Colette Aucoin, Louis Arsenault (Millie Benoit), Paul (Carol) Arsenault, Elise Arsenault (Dennis Cormier), Cecile Arsenault (Robert Doucette). Wonderful and proud grandfather to Jean (Jillian) Aucoin, Julia Aucoin (Marc MacDonald), Patrick Arsenault, Denis Arsenault, Zakary Cormier and Danielle Doucette. Survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law. Predeceased by his precious son Daniel Arsenault, his parents Theophile and Lumina (DesRoches) Arsenault, father-in-law Arthur J.-B. Arsenault and mother-in-law Josephine Arsenault, Louis Aucoin son-in-law. Special people in Reggie's life included Mindy Gallant (Robert) of Sackville, N.B., and his puppy Max. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, then to the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church for funeral mass on Monday, Nov. 12, at 10:30 a.m. Cremated remains to be buried at a later day. A Celebration of Life in honour of Reginald will be held on Monday, Nov. 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Le Centre Belle-Alliance, 5 Maris Stella Ave., Summerside. In lieu of flowers, donations to le Village des sourses l'étoile filante or to an organization of your choice can be made.
