McCARTHY-JARVIS, BRENDA ANNE - Brenda McCarthy-Jarvis of Keirsteadville, loving wife of Leslie Jarvis, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2012 at Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Perth, NB, daughter of Margaret (Bolstridge) McCarthy and the late Eugene McCarthy. Brenda taught school for 31 years all over New Brunswick and in Belfast, Ireland. She retired from Belleisle Elementary in 2011. Brenda loved reading and spending time with family and friends on the Belleisle Bay. Surviving besides her husband Leslie are children, Melissa Dawn Thomas (Charles), Shelsey Lynn Jarvis (Maxime Cayer); sisters Marlene Reali (John), Bernadette McLaughlin (Aubrey), Rebecca Brook (Randy), Sarah Pickard (Edward) and Clara Thomas (Shane); brothers David (Stephanie Ebett), Damon (Anne), Kevin (Michelle), Stephen (Bonnie), Alvin (Cindy), Mark (Patsy), Daniel (Angela), John (Chantal) and Kenneth (Becky); two grandsons Daniel and Liam and several nephews and nieces.
Resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A Memorial service will be held from The Belleisle Community Centre, 1648 Route 124, Springfield, NB on Wednesday at 11am. Interment in Plaster Rock Cemetery at a later date.
