WILLIAMS, Kathleen Elizabeth, 51, of Shelburne, passed away peacefully in Roseway Hospital on Monday, November 12, 2012 with family by her side. Born in Braylorne, British Columbia, she was a daughter of Earle and Jessie (Blagdon) Williams. Kathy was a nature lover and an avid outdoors person. She enjoyed hunting and loved life. Kathy worked at Shelburne Home Hardware prior to her illness. Besides her parents she is survived by her common-law spouse, Ray George; son, Phillip (Tammy) Labrador, Gunning Cove; daughter, Jeanette (Kenney) Cann, Alberta; brothers, John (Tammy) Williams, Jordan; Allan (Barb) Williams, N.B; David Williams, Shelburne; Sam (Marg) Williams, N.B; sisters, Judy (John) Harte, Cape Breton; Debbie Williams (Jim), Shelburne; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Jessie and Samuel Blagdon and paternal grandparents, Beryle and Samuel Williams. Visitation will be from 2:00- 4:00 and 7:00- 9:00 Thursday in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Debi Hill officiating. Interment in Mizpah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A special thank you to her cousin Holly for being there for Kathy throughout her illness. Thank you to Drs. Wilson and Riley and the staff of Roseway Hospital for their compassion and care and to Glee Harding for always being there for Kathy. A most heartfelt thank you to Bruce and Fran Atkinson and their staff at Shelburne Woodworkers Home Hardware for their support and care. Thank you to Clifford and staff at Huskilson’s Funeral Home for their guidance and assistance at this most difficult time.
