Joseph O'Brien

The death of Joseph Clarence O’Brien age 94 of Amherst occurred on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Amherst, Joseph was raised by the late Alec and Mary LeBlanc.
He was a proud veteran, serving his whole military career overseas during the Second World War.
After the war, Joseph worked for Enamel Heating and Brooks Construction until his retirement.
Joseph loved to fish and took great pride in his wood working skills.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Judy (Sherman) Little, and son, Ronald (Betty) Hunter both of Amherst; grandsons, Jason (Molly), Ronnie Little and Ronnie Hunter; one special great grandson, Kody Little.
He was predeceased by his special friend, Peggy Gaudet and sister, Gertrude Brun.
As per Joseph’s wishes cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst, NS and there will be no formal service at this time.
Memorial donations in Joseph’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
