It is with great sadness that the family of the late Myrtle Strickland announce her passing at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, NL on Tuesday November 13, 2012 at the age of 86. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Doreen (Doug Jackman), Grand Bank, NL, Ross (Joan), Milltown, NL, Sharon Young, CBS, NL, Jim (Marian), St. Alban’s, NL, Rosemary (Conrad Mullins), Pasadena, NL, Phyllis (Dave Evely), Clarenville, NL, Debbie (Gerard Haas), Ontario, Grace, (Larry Dumeresque), Lance Au Clair, NL, Dora (|Cec Organ), St. John’s, NL, Louise (John Gushue), Bacon Cove, NL; 21grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers: Jim Kendall, St. Alabn’s, NL, Ronald Kendall (Joan), Morrisville, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Reginald; son: Reginald Jr; sister: Carrie; brothers: Gordon, Harold, Edgar & Allan. The funeral service was held on Friday November 16, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown with Reverend Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Milltown. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
