It is with great sadness that The Wadhwa family announces the passing of our beloved Beeji. Darshan Kaur Wadhwa, age 98, passed away peacefully Nov. 30, 2012. She is survived by her children: Surendra (Biloo), Raj (Mann) and Rami (Jasbir). She was adored by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beeji was also highly respected in the Indian community across the country. We all have special memories with this remarkable woman that will forever be cherished. Thank you to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for the wonderful care she received. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday Dec. 1, 2012 at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your preference in Beeji's memory.
