FITZGERALD, L. GERTRUDE - L. Gertrude Fitzgerald passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. Born on August 7, 1919 in Napadogan, N.B. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Dora Neadles (Bartlett). Wife of the late, Deryl L. Fitzgerald. Gertrude was a florist for 55 years, retiring from Lancaster Florist. She is survived by her sons, Donald L. Fitzgerald (Deborah), of Alberta, Deryl A. Fitzgerald (Rosemarie), of Saint John; brothers, Donald Neadles, of Ontario; sister, Margaret Neadles-Armstrong, of Ontario; grandchildren, Hollie J. Miserendino (Joseph), of Laval, Quebec, D. Marcus Fitzgerald, of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters in infancy, Dawn Elizabeth and Karen Naderia.
Arrangements are entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West. (634-1701). Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from Castle Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens following the service. Following Interment there will be a reception held at the Fallsview Reception Center.
