Of Riverview, N.B., and formerly of Charlottetown P.E.I., passed away at the Moncton Hospital, on Thursday, November 29, 2012, in his 95th year.
Born in Charlottetown, P.E.I., he was the son of the late Guss and Gertrude Dowling (Walsh). Survived by his brother Robert and his wife Palma; survived and greatly missed by sister-in-law Rita Dowling (McGee), Shirley Dowling (McCarville); nieces Janet McBeth (MacEachern), Susan Dowling Shaw, Jane Dowling, Noreen Hennessey, Judy Tabor, Joan Kays, Lynn Botts; nephews Ian and David MacEachern, Gary Kilgour, Allan, John, Stephen, Pat, Ken, Don, Ron, Jeff and Bob Dowling.
Besides his parents he is predeceased by sisters Mary Kilgour and Rita MacEachern; brothers Cecil, Wilfred and Anthony Dowling.
By personal request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Charlottetown, P.E.I., at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown, P.E.I.
