KENNETT, JEFFREY WILLIAM - The passing of Jeffrey “Jeff” William Kennett of Mactaquac, NB, husband of Eloise Stillwell-Kennett, occurred on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on September 15, 1957 in Woodstock, NB, he was the son of William Kennett and the late Kathryn (Bell) Kennett. Jeff worked in marketing and sales; he also did work with Aura Foods, Organic Farmer for Harvest Share Co-op, Nashwaak Paddles, Planta Dei Pharma, Eco-House and many more. He enjoyed sailing, canoeing, woodworking, gardening, skiing, cooking, playing guitar and most of all celebrating his birthday every year at the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival. He was one of the best customer Tim Hortons ever had. Jeff especially enjoyed leisurely summers at Yoho Lake with his family and many great friends. In addition to his wife and father, Jeff is survived by six amazing children, Kaleb Kennett (Cyntia) of New Brunswick, Kyle Kennett of Edmonton, AB, Carly-Anna Nickerson (Michael) of Fredericton, NB, Wesley Kennett, Quinton Kennett, and Makayla Kennett all of Mactaquac, NB; brother, Bob Kennett (Connie) of Fredericton, NB; step-mother, Dorothy Kennett of Bristol, NB; several nieces and nephews; many special friends and his best friend, his dog Tully.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Mactaquac United Baptist Church on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Amos Adeniyi officiating and Rev. Peter Beckwith assisting. Interment will take place in Mactaquac Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Keswick Ridge Historical Society or the charity of the donor’s choice. Jeff would want to thank all for the overwhelming love, which was demonstrated by the fund raisers organized, for his past illnesses. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
