The death occurred suddenly at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, of Robert "Bob" Maxwell Burden of Summerside, aged 66 years. Bob was born on Nov. 21, 1946, in Moncton, N.B., to his late parents, Maxwell and Gladys (nee Baxter) Burden. Beloved father of Michael Burden of Florida, Melanie Burden (Pete) of Florida, Misty Bernard (Tommy Steele) of Summerside and their mother Judy McLean of Florida, Maxwell and Henson Stewart and their mother Cheryl Stewart all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren Vincent, Stormi, Hunter, Jade, Tristen and Fox and many nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Bayna (David) Arsenault of Summerside, Terry Burden (Wayne) of Medicine Hat, Alta., Stephen (Jan) Burden of White Rock, B.C., and Bonnie (Todd) Lutes of Moncton, N.B. Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by his brother Glynn Burden and his nephew Otis Hicks. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Saturday, Dec. 8, where a Memorial Service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations in Bob's memory to the Autism Society of P.E.I. would be greatly appreciated.
