It is with great sorrow that we announce Ivy’s passing. She slipped quietly away on December 1, 2012 after a ten year stay at Shorncliffe Care Home.
Ivy loved her life on the Sunshine Coast. She worked many years as an LPN in St. Mary’s Hospital. Ivy and Rod were a fun-loving couple who loved to travel, and Ivy particularly enjoyed gambling and the casinos in Reno and Vegas.
She is sadly missed by sister Isabel and daughter Jan, two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, two nieces, one nephew, countless cousins, family and friends.
She was predeceased by husband Rod, daughter Peg and son Ted.
After a long battle with illness, we celebrate Ivy’s freedom from pain but will miss her always.
