Anna (Ma) Margaret Hicken
At the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Sunday, December 9, 2012, the death occurred of Anna “Ma” Margaret Hicken, age 81 years.
Born in Montague, March 26, 1931, she was the wife of the late Russell Hicken and daughter of the late William and Margaret (MacBeth) Fraser. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Linda (Roy) Reynolds; sons, Brian Hicken, Murray (Sandra) Hicken; grandchildren, Tanya (Wendell) MacKinnon, Tracy (Jamie) McCarthy, Katie Hicken, Steven Hicken; great-grandchildren, Maggie McCarthy, Nolan McCarthy, Jake MacKinnon and Tessa MacKinnon. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Hicken; brother, Finley Fraser; and her numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Aside from her husband and parents, Anna was predeceased by her brother, John Fraser.
Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home where visiting will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2012, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Ferguson-Logan Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in the Lower Montague Cemetery.
