CECILIA MORTIMER
We, the family of the late Cecilia Mortimer, wish to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our relatives and friends. A very special thank you to those who attended the visitation and funeral mass, to those who telephoned, prepared food, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, online condolences and memorial donations. Thank you to Dr. Mark Sampson and Rita for the care and concern they showed mom over the years. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the EHS attendants, ER staff, nursing staff at 4C and Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and professionalism shown to mom and the family. Special thank you to Father Jim Oliver who celebrated the funeral mass at St. Joseph's Church on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, and for his beautiful homily. Thank you to family friend, Mona Walker and mom's brother, Jack Hickey, for doing the readings at the funeral mass. Thank you to St. Theresa's Choir for singing mom's favorite hymns Mom would have been so proud of all the pallbearers including five of her grandsons; Christopher Cooke, Mitchell Mortimer, Andrew Mortimer, Brian Mortimer and David Mortimer, as well as, her brother, Jim Hickey. Our thanks to Bill Curry, Doug Libbus and staff at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel for their support and kindness. Our mom will be truly missed by her family and all who knew her.
