We, the family of the late of Michael "Mick" Kelloway wish to express our profound gratitude for your support and love with regard to Mick 's sudden passing. To our relatives, friends, and neighbours who sent flowers, food, monetary gifts, and made donations to the Heart and Stroke Association, we thank you. As well, for all the kindnesses shown to us by visits to our home and the gentle words of support. For those who sent condolences, called, sent emails, cards, attended the wake and funeral, to express their love and respect for Mick, thank you. For Mick's fellow Miners, thank you for sharing a story and reminiscing of wonderful memories. Our gratitude is extended to the First Responders of the Sydney River Volunteer Fire Department, and to Dr. Mark Sampson and his team in Emergency at the CBRH for their dedication and compassion. Also, we would like to thank Father Leo Boone for a moving service and the CWL of St. Anne's Church. To the pallbearers; Steve MacDonald, Brian Chauder, Matthew Chauder, Donald Sudworth, Michael Ford, Geoff MacLellan and honorary pallbearer John Chauder, we are forever grateful. To the management and staff of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, especially Rita Tompkins, for their guidance, professionalism, and kindness during a very difficult time.
A final thank to Mick for being a loving husband, best father a son could ever have, a caring brother, loyal friend, quiet hero and leader.
