Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, Friday, December 14th, 2012, at 89 years of age. Predeceased by her husband Frank; (May 2008); daughter Eileen; her parents: George and Elizabeth Blyde; brothers Jack, William, Cyril, Wallace, George and Philip; sisters Margaret McGue, Mary Best (Aidan) and sister-in-law Kathleen Power (Michael). Leaving to mourn with precious memories her son Frank (Margaret Rose), Dianne, and Rosemary; her adoring grandchildren: John (Michelle), Frank (Colette), Anne Marie (Dwayne Hickey) ,Ed (Krista) and Paul (fiancée, Lisa Dray) and her loving great-grandchildren: Mitchell and Matthew Coady, Nick and MacKayla Coady, Ryan and Michael Hickey, Ethan and Emma Coady, and Josh and Liam Kavanagh. Also leaving to mourn her sisters: Theresa Pinder, Elizabeth Gardiner and Eleanor Kasawan; her brothers: Kevin Blyde and Tom (Rose) Blyde; sister-in-law Mary Coady and a large circle of friends and relatives from the Blyde, Coady and Power families. Special friends Msgr. James Doody, Madonna and Todd Wheeler, Geraldine Tobin, Eileen Hawco and Patricia Corcoran. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday, from 2 p.m. -9 p.m. and Monday, from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, December 18th, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted. Donations may be made in her memory to the Basilica of St. John the Baptist Heritage Foundation.
