The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, December 14, 2012, of Roger MacLean, of South West Lot 16, aged 81 years.
Born in Lot 16, he was the son of the late Harold and Ella (Williams) MacLean. Survived by his daughters Suzanne (Gordie) MacDonald, Lot 16; Heather (Jack) Payne, Lot 16; Vivian (Patrick) O’Neill, Charlottetown; son, Roddie (Brenda) MacLean, Lot 16; grandchildren, Alexander, Katherine, Lynn, Colin, Adam and Terry; great-granddaughter, Lauren; sister, Doreen MacLean, Lot 16; brothers, Allison (Edith) MacLean, Lot 16; Glenford (June) MacLean, Lot 16; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Anderson, Moncton, N.B.; Vivian (Herman) Barrett, Halifax, N.S.; Mary MacInnis, Travellers Rest; brother-in-law, James (Grace) MacLaurin, Belmont; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife, Campsie (MacLaurin) MacLean, and grandson, Nathan.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment in the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery.
Visiting hours Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
