KNOX: Glenda (Switzer) Knox, age 50 years, of Forget, SK, passed away Dec 7, 2012 at Regina after a brief battle with cancer. The Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Dec 19th, 2012 from the Hall in Aneroid, with Laura Balas officiating. The organist is Glenna Switzer with songs by Kathy Grant and Jim Harbor. Life Tribute will be presented by Sandy Stewart. Power Point Presentation by Tiffany Stepp. Urn Bearer is Bobbi-Jo Davis. Glenda is survived by her husband of 29 years, Harold, Forget, SK, and one daughter Bobbi-Jo (Cory) Davis of Estevan, brothers Bruce (Lorna) Switzer, Waldeck, SK, Bob (Gail) Switzer, Aneroid, SK, sister Marilyn (Don) Bouvier, Red Deere, AB, brother-in-law Allan (Cathy) Knox, Ponteix, SK, sisters-in-law Brenda (Dale) Lansberry, Fort MacMurray, AB, and Lois (Harold) Geiger, Bracken, SK, God Child Amy Kate Ameel. She was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Megan Switzer, parents-in-law, Percy and Marj Knox, sister-in-law Sandra Switzer, grandparents John and Maggie George and Ben and Anna Switzer. Glenda was born, January 31, 1962 in Kincaid, SK, and was raised on a farm south of Aneroid. She attended school in Aneroid and graduated from Kincaid Central School. She attended Medicine Hat College and obtained a diploma in Business Administration. Glenda held various jobs such as an Office Worker, School Bus Driver, Post Office Employee, Grocery Store Clerk, and at the time of her death Glenda was employed by Estevan Diversified Services as a Direct Support Professional. Glenda's greatest joy and satisfaction was helping others! Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Telemiracle. Glenda will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends.
