On Monday December 17, 2012, Eugenea “Gene” Hobbs went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband William (Bill); her parents Joseph and Ileana; brothers and sisters Nick, Betty, John, George, Mary, Bill, Annie, Ted, Margaret, Dorothy and Garnet, Gene is survived by her two sons Bill (Donna) and Ted; one brother Dan Watamanuk of Pioneer Lodge; two granddaughters Dori-Anne Petit (Darren) and Shauna Audette (Rod) and three great-grandchildren Hannah, Tyler and Evan. Over the years Mom enjoyed many activities such as square dancing, gardening and sewing. Mom’s greatest joy was her family. The Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 725 9th Avenue SW, Moose Jaw, SK. on Friday December 21, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Father John Bingham will officiate. Flowers are graciously declined. Donations may be made in Gene’s name to Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. In living memory of Eugenea, a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
