It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Goldie Maynard (nee Hoddinott) announce her peaceful passing at her family residence on December 26, 2012 at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories, her children: Carol (Robert) Follett, Brian (Susan); her grandchildren: Joanna (Colin), Michael (Keisha), Andrew (Nicole), Peter and Jane; her sister Henrietta (Benedict) and brother Seymour (Juanita); brothers and sister-in-law: Wallace, Sheldon and Marlene, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Truman; her parents: Elsie and Henry Hoddinott; mother and father-in-law: Jane and William; sisters: Maisie (George), Emma (Philip), Bessie (Peter) and Linda (Ron); brother Peter (Stella); brothers and sisters-in-law: Elijah, Edward, Maggie, Eliza and Emma. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, December 28, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. from St. John The Evangelist Anglican Cathedral Main Street, with The Very Reverend Baxter Park officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Food Bank Network or a charity of one’s choice.
