The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, of Zita Cahill, of Summerside, aged 81 years.
Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Bella (Arsenault) LeClair. Survived by her children, Ken (Kathy) Cahill, Saskatoon, SK; Vance Cahill, Summerside; Barb (Gordon) MacAusland, Summerside; Wayne Cahill (Colleen Felts), Mermaid; Janice (Darrell) Richard, Summerside; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Gladys “Dolly” (Wilfred “Bunny”) Gallant, Joan (Murray) Dekker, Mildred “Mickey” (Lorne) Brayley, Henry “Hubba” LeClair (Sylvia); and by sisters-in-law, Lillian Birrane and Erna Giriat.
Predeceased by her husband, Erskine; sons, Scott and Grant; daughter, Debi; granddaughter, Maureen MacAusland; brothers, Ralph “Foxy” and Clifford “Skip” LeClair.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 1 p.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Monday from 2-6 p.m.
