Peacefully passed away with family at his side at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, Ontario on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Clyde Penney of Stroud, Ontario and formerly of Weston, Ontario at 85 years of age. Beloved husband of Edith (nee Gillard) for 62 years. Loving dad of Sharon (Cosimo) Fuda, Deborah Burroughs (Rick), Stephen (Darlene), Dale Durocher (Glenn), Paula Penney (Louis Carrasco-Cortes) and Michelle (Ralf) Zimmer. Proud “Pops” of 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Flora, Les, Dolph, Christine and predeceased by Bill, Rob, Malc, Mona and Norma. Clyde will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Clyde will also be sadly missed by his dog Skippy. Friends called at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford, Ontario (1-800-209-4803) for a visitation. Funeral service was held in the Chapel on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. followed by cremation.
