NICKERSON, Edith Linwood, 95, Barrington Passage, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Roseway Manor, Sandy Point. Born at Swim’s Point on April 9, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Delbert and Lilla (Penney) Goodwin. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughters, Brenda Smith, Bonnie (George) Newell, Barrington Passage; grand-children, David, Kirk, Trent, Jill, Heidi; great grandchildren, Jamie, Ryland, Samantha, Devon, Shana, Haile; great, great grandchildren, Taylor, Sebastian. She was predeceased by her husband, Basil; son, Walden; granddaughter, Rhonda; brothers Delbert Jr., Harry, Willie (in infancy), Carl, Robie; sisters, Annie, Peggy, Mavis. The funeral service was held on Sunday, December 30 from H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, Pastors Jack and Audrey Carter officiating. Burial was in Atlantic Cemetery, Stoney Island.
