Bill was born at home in Success, SK on October 29, 1942. Bill spent his childhood in Sceptre and would ride the train back to Success to the farm with every opportunity he got. He married Norma Moen on March 21, 1966 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The couple returned to Saskatchewan and farmed in the Stewart Valley District. Bill was a "picker". He traveled all over for a good auction sale. He collected antique McCormick tractors and implements, also collected antiques in general. He loved organic farming and his animals. His first priority was his family. He never let us down and kept us close. A fun kind gentle man that we always wanted to be around. Because of that we are blessed with many happy memories and we will remember him forever with love and we are so proud to call him, "my grandpa, my brother, my dad and my husband." Bill is survived by his wife Norma Cook (nee; Moen) son Roy (Denise) Cook, daughter Shawna (Corrie) Smuk, grandsons Cody and Tanner Cook, granddaughters Anndria and Jordynn Smuk, sister Judy Cook, brother Howard (Skip) Cook. Brothers-in-law Jerry (Irene) Moen, Glenn (Rose) Moen, Dale (Connie) Moen and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by grandparents Roy and Cepha Cook and Thomas and Alma James.
