Mary Evanne Clements peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, January 4, 2013. Mary Clements (nee Woolgar) of Owen Sound in her 65th year. Beloved wife of Roy Clements and the late Carson Ardiel. Dear mother of Tamara and her husband Greg Long of Markdale, Timothy and his wife Lori Ardiel of Cambridge, Catherine Clements of Owen Sound and Edward and his wife Leanne of Kemble. Sadly missed by ten grandchildren Brandon, Tyler, Travis, Mathew, James, Justin, Samantha, Jaeden, Kyle and Vanessa and a great-grandchild Jerzy. Also survived by 4 sisters Ruth Reid of Watford, Jane (Ron Horton) of Moose Jaw, Susan (Tim Harkness) of Burk’s Falls and Karen (Paul Hogan) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her parents Chester and Doris Woolgar and her brother-in-law Ray Reid. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 12 noon until service time. A memorial service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Memorial donations to the Kemble Lions Club or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Messages of condolence and online guest book at www.tannahill.com Mary was raised in Burks Falls later moving to Toronto and was employed as a Bell Telephone operator. She moved to Longlac, Heron Bay South, and Marathon Ontario, with her first husband Carson Ardiel. She became desk manager of The Marathon Hotel. She moved to Thunder Bay, married Roy Clements, was hired as a clerk then shortly after became office manager for Hudson Bay Wholesale. Restructuring at Hudson Bay Wholesale transferred Mary to Owen Sound, Roy transferred with Sears Service. After the closing of Hudson Bay Wholesale, Mary worked with Grey Bruce Insulation in Bognor, Fulfords Hardware, Wood and Wall Works, and was secretary of St. George's Anglican Church in Owen Sound. Mary also was secretary for The Bluewater Curling Club and The Agriculture Society. In 1993 Mary and Roy purchased Logan's TV, where she ran the store and Roy the service. Passing the business to son Edward and wife Lee Ann they opened and operated MR Appliance Repair for the past eight years. She was also proudly a member of Kemble Lions Club.
