The death occurred very peacefully on May 19, 2008, of Dave Darlington in his 66th year at his home in Halifax, N.S., surrounded by his loving family. Formerly from P.E.I. and UK. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Chris; son, Paul (Lori), B.C.; daughters, Michelle (Dave Moore), N.S., and Tracy (Barry Furlotte), N.S. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Tonya, Siobhan, Cameron, Gabrielle, Alex, Brandon and Kristian. He is also survived by his brothers, Paul and Neil; and his sisters, Gill and Barbara in UK. Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home in Charlottetown, P.E.I. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, May 26. There will be a private interment on Tuesday, May 27, at Argyle Shore Cemetery for family members. If so desired, donations in Dave’s memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
