Alice 'Lol' (MacDonald) Groves

Alice (affectionately known as Lol) passed away on Jan. 7, 2013 in Richmond Hill, Ont.
She was the daughter of Mary (Debison) and Wilson MacDonald born Dec. 25, 1921 in North Sydney, N.S.
She was predeceased by her husband, Eli (1995) and nephew, Alec Lloyd (2002).
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah; son, Robert ( Teresa). She will be missed by her grandchildren, Tanya, Chad, Courtney, Cara and Cayden. She has one surviving sister, Jessie Groves and two sisters-in-law, May MacDonald and Lillian Talbot. She will be fondly remembered by her niece, Linda McEwen (Sheldon).
Visitation will take place at Patten Funeral Home on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. Interment at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Glace Bay, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Warden United Church.
