Tad died peacefully at Totem Lodge, Sechelt, with Mae by his side.
Born Tadeusz Jejde in Torun, Poland. Following service with the Polish Army, Tad took his Engineering Degree in England and immigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1953. After retirement and three years of solo sailing, he moved to Sechelt to enjoy more sailing.
He is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife Mae; daughters Anna (Bill) and Lydia (Joe); grandchildren CJ and Kristin; and great-grandchildren Zach, Ruby, Ben, Trinity and Jed.
A family memorial will be held later this month in Melbourne, Australia.
