Passed peacefully away in the presence of his Mom and Dad at his home in Colliers, Philip McDonald Jr. Predeceased by his grandparents, William and Edith McDonald, and Henry and Mary Walsh; uncles: William Walsh, George McDonald, James McDonald, John McDonald and aunt Mary Cochrane. Leaving to mourn are his parents, Philip and Catherine; his sisters: Wanda (Ray) Morrissey, Tanya (Joey) Buckle and Stephanie (Chris) Hawco; nephews: Andrew (Kristen), Aaden and niece Lila; and special friend Alice Rowe. He also leaves to mourn numerous special family and friends, and his friends at the Janeway, Rehab Centre and Max Simms Camp. Resting at Conway's Funeral Home, Conception Harbour with visitation on Tuesday, January 15th from 11:00 a.m. -9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, January 16th from 10:00 a.m. -9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, January 17th, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Colliers. Interment to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Philip's memory can be made to the Janeway Hospital.
