Basil Alexander Lavie
The death occurred suddenly on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at his residence in Souris of Basil LaVie in his 79th year. Special friend of Betty Paynter.
By Basil’s personal request, he donated himself to Dalhousie Medical School. Visitation for the family will be held at Dingwell Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, Jan. 16, 2013, from 6-9 p.m. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday morning at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Souris at 11 a.m.
If so desired, memorials to the Souris Fire Department would be appreciated.
