Heal; her sister, Beryl Kramski in 2008, her parents, Arthur and Gertrude Chesworth, sister-in-law, Mary Hendrick and husband, Norm Hendrick, brother-in-law, Gordon Kramski and dear friend, Beth Wigmore. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Nola Engle and son-in-law, Don Engle – Victoria, her grandchildren: Kathy Engle and Karen Engle (Patrick Fowlow) – Toronto, Christie Johnson (Ray) and Patrick Heal (Trina) – Saskatoon, Sherry Richards (Paul) – Victoria and their mother, Anne Heal – Regina; her great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Julia Heal, Samuel and Lauren Richards; nieces, Brenda Lloyd, Diane Kramski, Gail Watson, Carol Hendrick, and nephew, Howard Hendrick and their families. Born in Estevan, Ev moved to Moose Jaw at age 3 spending the rest of her life as a dedicated Moose Javian. She married Fred in 1939 and devoted her life to family. Beyond family life, her interests were varied but her passion was Duplicate Bridge. An original member of the Moose Jaw Duplicate Bridge Club, she served as the club’s first treasurer in 1960 and later enjoyed 35 years as its director. She attained her Life Masters in 1968. Not much surpassed the joy of spending an evening of tournament bridge, capped off with a glass of wine with fellow competitors grouped around a piano enjoying a singsong. The family is deeply grateful for the wonderful care afforded Ev by the staff of Guardian Grove and St. Anthony’s, Providence Place and the gift of Roberta Arens and Maureen Zaparinuk who watched over and loved her as their own. A Celebration of Evelyn’s Life will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. Memorial donations may be made in Ev’s name to: Providence Place Foundation, “Music Therapy Program”, 100-200 2nd Ave N.E., Moose Jaw, S6H 1B8.
