Donald "Don" Stuart

STUART, DONALD “DON” EARL - 1932 - 2013 - Don Stuart, 80, of Riverview, NB; passed away at Dr. Georges Dumont University Hospital, on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late William C. and Elizabeth (Gray) Stuart. Don had retired from Province of New Brunswick Transportation Department. He is a member of the Moncton Wesleyan Church as well as a member of the Moncton Wesleyan Golden Age Fellowship Group. Don is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Muriel Stuart; one daughter Elizabeth Smith (Wayne) of Fredericton; one son Gregory D. Stuart of Moncton, three grand-daughters Kyla Muir (Ryan), Sally Parlee (Derek) and Jill Stockton (Nick Wheaton); four great grand-daughters Emma, Rhea, Bria and Ava Elizabeth one sister Jean Stuart of Moncton; also by his sisters-in-law Marion Stuart (the late Ernest) and Shirley Gorveatte (the late Donald); brother-in-law Charles Corey (Marion) of Moncton; also by nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Don was predeceased by his sisters Alice, Helen, Audrey and Dorothy and brothers Percy, Russell, Roy, Edward and Ernest and by a nephew Kenneth Stuart.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the Moncton Wesleyan Church, St. George Blvd. Moncton on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 1:00pm until the time of the service. The funeral service will be held at The Moncton Wesleyan Church on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. L. Buckingham officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton in the spring. Donations in Don's memory made to Moncton Wesleyan Church Building Fund or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. The family wish to thank, Dr. Benjelloun and staff of the Oncology Dept of the Dr. George L. Dumont University Hospital for the many years of care during Don’s treatment and to the Doctors and staff of the Surgical Intensive Unit of the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital for their professionalism and care given to Don. Arrangements have been entrusted to Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd.
