The death occurred peacefully on Monday January 14, 2013, at the Chetwynde Nursing Home, West Newton, Mass., of Ruth (MacQuarrie) Stewart, of Auburndale, Mass., age 98 years.
Born and raised in Caledonia, P.E.I., and was the last of eight children of the late Malcolm J. and Sadie (Beaton) Stewart. She is survived by son Robin MacQuarrie (Dorothy). Also survived by many nieces and nephews and one very special and favorite grandniece, Denice Robichaud of Carver, Mass.
Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River, for visitation on Sunday, January 20, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral service to be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 21, at 2 p.m. Interment in Caledonia Cemetery (at a later date).
