Passed suddenly away at his home in Edmonton, Alberta on Saturday, January 12, 2013, Melvin Christopher Brewer, 44 yrs old, formerly of Freshwater, Placentia. He leaves with fond and loving memories to mourn his loving wife and son, Joanne (Conway) and Rian, as well as daughter Danielle. Predeceased by his favorite uncle, Martin Brewer, (Theresa), his mother-in-law Theresa (Conway) who loved him like a son and James Conway, father-in-law. Also mourning his passing are his devoted mother Mary Brewer (Perham) and step-dad Frank; his brothers: Al (Junior), Darrin, Rodney (Joanne), and sister Mary (Justin); brothers and sisters-in-law: Myra Conway (Jim - deceased), Ray Conway (Esther), Douglas Conway (Debbie), Dwana Conway, Sandra Walsh (Jack), Paul (deceased), Pamela Conway (Best sister-in-law), David (deceased) and Darrell Conway (Leanne), a large circle of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, and father Aloysius Brewer. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Sunday, January 20, 2012 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater at 11:00 a.m.. Cremation to follow.
