Mary “Jean” Rogers, 67, of Highcrest Home, formerly of Stellarton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, January 19, 2013.
Jean is the daughter of the late John and Jenny (Campbell) Campbell, Stellarton.
She attended school in Stellarton and was a former employee of Wearwell Garments. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
Jean is survived by 2 sons, Malcolm, Chester and Michael, Stellarton; 2 daughters, Trina Greene (Matthew), Pictou, and Sophie Dickeson (Lawrence), Blue Acres; sisters, Norberta Langille (Malcolm), Stellarton; Margaret Ann Henderson (Bill), and Elaine Garland (Darrell), both of Westville; brother Joe Campbell (Mary), Pictou; sister-in-law Barb Campbell, Vancouver Island; 4 grandchildren, Mitchell, Bradley, Ashley and Morgan; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother John “Sonny” Campbell; daughter-in-law Nadine and infant grand child
Cremation has taken place. Her family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. There will be no funeral service by request.
