Allison 'Allie' Ross

Allison ‘Allie’ Ross, a resident of Taigh Sola, North Sydney, formerly, Argyle Street, Sydney, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Allie retired from the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board, where he worked for many years in the maintenance department.
Surviving are his daughter, Mary (Bill) Reid, Lawrencetown, N.S.; son, Allison ‘Jr.’ Ross, Sydney; sister, Myrtle; brother, Charlie; grandchildren, Shelley (Jason) Noseworthy, Coxheath, Christopher and Cory Reid, Lawrencetown and three great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Allie was predeceased by his wife, Alice (Miller) and several brothers and sisters.
There will be no visitation. Interment will be held in Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
