Barry James Carlson
May 6, 1950 – January 21, 2013

Barry was taken peacefully in his sleep at the young age of 62 years. Beloved husband and best friend to Lynda for 44 years, treasured father to Tamara and Darren, "Grandpa" to Austin and Tristan Meiliunas, and "Bear" to many, many friends. He will always be remembered for his infectious grin and huge heart. Although a man of few words, when he spoke those around him listened. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, Saskatchewan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Juanito Vargas. Cremation will follow, with interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Stouffville Skate Park Fund. This will honor his long career in Facility Managment and love for building and architecture. Barry's family will erect a treed viewing area in his honor, providing a place for his grandsons to visit his spirit.
