PRICE, WINNIFRED "WINNIE" - 1929 - 2013 - Winnifred "Winnie" Price, 83, of Riverview, NB; passed peacefully away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital, on Thursday, January 24, 2013. Born in Havelock, NB; she was the daughter of the late Guy and Gladys (Delmonte) Black. Winnifred was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Riverview. Winnie and her husband Bill enjoyed square and round dancing, she was also an avid gardener, loved to knit and crochet and she was a terrific cook. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all that knew her, she will be sadly missed by her two sons, Bob Price (Brenda) of Pointe-du-Chene and Michael Price of Calgary; two grandchildren, Lynsey (Brad) and Kris Price (Tara); one sister, Isabel Lewis of North Battleford, Sk., and by nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Annie and Inez for the loving care and support given to Winnie. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her husband William "Bill" A. Price in 2011, her son William Allan Price, two brothers George and Chester and four sisters Geraldine, Mabel, Beatrice and Margaret.
Honoring Winnifred's wishes, there is no viewing at the Riverview Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be held at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 600 Coverdale Rd. Riverview, on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:30 am with Rev. Charles Cook officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery, Riverview, NB. Donations in Winnie's memory made to the Bethel Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated by her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd.
