JOHNSTON, LAURA - 1936 - 2013 - Laura Alexandria Johnston passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the age of 76. Born at 49 York Street, Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late Mina and Russell Noiles. Laura is survived by her son Barry Blakeney (Charlene) of Shelburne, NS, and her daughter Dawn Allen (Wendell) of Scoudouc, NB, sisters; Winnetta Barnes (Donnie) of Melrose, NB, Elsie Stevens of Jacksons Point, NS, Thelma Dickson (Bob) of Pugwash, NS, Grace Noiles (Frank) and Marilyn Berry (The Captains Daughter) of Rawdon, NS, grandchildren; Terry, Christopher, and Andrew, and by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Laura was predeceased by her husband James, son Wayne, two brothers; Alexander and Arnold, and by her sister Dorothy.
A Celebration of Laura’s Life will be held in the Garden View Reception Room at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2:00pm. The family would like to thank the Nursing Staff of The Moncton Hospital and The Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital. A heartfelt thanks to Maureen from the Intensive Care Unit of The Moncton Hospital.
