Passed peacefully away on Monday, January 29, 2013, in the presence of his loving family at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, George Snow, of Bay Roberts (formerly of North River), age 86. Predeceased by loving wife Bernice, brother Kevin, parents Alfred and Gladys, brothers-in-law Jim Morgan, Clyde Hunt, Grenville Hunt and Oswald Hunt, sisters-in-law Evelyn Hunt and Joan Hunt. Leaving to mourn son Gary (Diana) Snow; daughter Audrey (Brian) Power; grandson Matthew Power; brother Alfred; sisters: Florence Snow-Morgan and Beatrice (Eric) Snow; sisters-in-law: Linda Snow and Jessie Hunt; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff with Eastern Health units in St. John's and In-Home Health Care who provided such excellent and compassionate care and support. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach. Visitation Thursday and Friday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Service to take place on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. from St. George’s Anglican Church, North River. Cremation to follow.
